IPSO CHALLENGE 2015

IPSO CHALLENGE is back for its third year! This year we have partnered with Designers of Things to bring even more opportunities for our top ten semi-finalists to network with industry experts, investors, customers and media in the Bay Area in December 2015. IPSO Alliance member Google is again showing its dedication to the development of future products and services in the IoT as a Gold Level Sponsor of the CHALLENGE.

For 2015, in order to expand the scope for innovative development, IPSO member companies ARMAtmel, Freescale, Intel, Micrium, Sigma Designs, STMicroelectronics and Texas Instruments have generously donated dev kits (hardware and software) for use in the development of entries.  A select number of entries will be chosen by the sponsor companies to receive a dev kit, based on the ingenuity of the design and explanation of how the technology would benefit the entry. Supplies are limited, so entrants are encouraged to submit their entry as early as possible. For more details on the technology available, click here.

All entries received will be reviewed by a panel of leading industry experts. Up to ten semi-finalists will be selected to receive promotion, mentorship, a travel stipend and display space in the IPSO IoT Pavilion at Designers of Things  in early December. Additionally, entries received by 16 June can request early feedback to enhance their proposal before final submission.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a cash prize of $10,000 USD, while second and third place winners will receive $5,000 and $2,500 respectively. All semi-finalists benefits of global exposure, networking and market contacts afforded by members of the IPSO Alliance and their partners.
