The IPSO Alliance is sponsoring a worldwide competition to showcase the use of the Internet Protocol (IP) in sensor/control and M2M applications enabling the Internet of Things (IOT).
IPSO Challenge 2013 encourages entrants to submit their idea, device or design that highlights the use of IP in Smart Objects . A panel of leading industry experts will judge the entries and semi-finalists’ technologies will be promoted by the Alliance and our partners. The top three finalists will be flown to Sensors Expo in Chicago, IL on June 6, 2013 to present their prototype or product, where the winner will be announced.

First prize is $10,000 with second and third place receiving $5,000 and $2,500 respectively.

The competition opens on February 15, 2013. Entries will be evaluated based on innovation, marketability, and impact on areas within the IoT and M2M. Complete rules and entry form can be found at IPSO Challenge2013.

This is a great opportunity to promote your ideas and skills and win some recognition and money!
